Ready, Set...GOal.

Updated: Aug 29, 2020

Enneagram 1. Type A. Capricorn.

I was born to be a self-critic. That little reproving voice in my head constantly casts self-doubt and has no question put the premature kibosh on many ideas that could've been, but never were. I'll admit: Launching Bella Bags was much easier in my head, as most ideas are. Over the course of my career, I've always prided myself on being a "wearer of many hats," but Bella Bags truly challenged this personal positioning statement. As I slowly started to propel forward the Bella Bags concept, every step was riddled with hesitation.

"What if it doesn't take off?"

"What if I can't do it?"

"What if I look stupid?"

"What if no one donates?"

And then, I had an epiphany:

So what?

If Bella Bags fails to take off, at worst, I will have attempted to spread some joy, and any attempt is better than failure to launch altogether. The "at best" scenario could be truly wonderful, though: elevating the well-being of hundreds (and eventually, thousands) of women in their most trying of times, while simultaneously supporting the dreams of small business owners.

This vision for what could be is how I continue to battle the "what ifs."

As not to get discouraged, our first goal has been set at a challenging yet achievable height: Donate 25 Bella Bags by our first month of launch.

By December 2020, my goal is to double our donation to 50 Bella Bags.

Once the logistics have been fine-tuned, we aim to continue doubling donations and to scale Bella Bags' contribution territory by mid-2021.

With your support, we hope to achieve these goals and more. Your $25 stretches far toward spreading good!

One Bella Bag:

  1. Brings a smile and sense of confidence to a woman facing unimaginable health or situational life challenges.

  2. Supports up to 10 small businesses by spotlighting their product.

  3. Helps you discover new products and unique brands in a way that gives back to others. It feels good to do good!

Stay tuned for more updates to come!

xo,

Cassie & Bella
